1. Summary
netmirrors.net.in is a static informational site about the NetMirror app. We do not have user accounts, do not run a backend, do not collect names, do not process payments, and do not require any form of registration to use the site. The only data we receive is the standard request metadata that any web server receives — captured by Cloudflare on our behalf — plus aggregated, anonymous analytics about which pages are popular.
This page explains exactly what that means, how long the data is retained, who else sees it, and what rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the EU/UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA").
2. Data Controller
The data controller responsible for this site is the editorial team operating netmirrors.net.in. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy question, request, or complaint. We aim to respond to legitimate privacy requests within 30 days as required by the DPDP Act and GDPR.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
To set expectations clearly, here is what we never collect on netmirrors.net.in:
- Your name, age, or any government ID
- Your phone number or postal address
- Your email address (unless you email us first — see Section 7)
- Passwords or login credentials of any kind — there is no account system
- Credit card, UPI, bank, or payment information — we do not sell anything
- Streaming history, watch history, or anything you do inside the NetMirror app
- Contents of your downloaded files or scans of your device
- Facial images, voice recordings, fingerprints, or any biometric data
- Contact lists, SMS, call logs, or social-graph data
We genuinely cannot collect any of the above because this is a static site with no forms, no login, and no client-side data exfiltration scripts.
4. What We DO Collect
4.1 Cloudflare access logs (server-side)
netmirrors.net.in is served through Cloudflare. Like every web request anywhere on the internet, each request to our site is logged by the network edge that serves it. Cloudflare automatically captures:
- Your IP address (used to route the response back to you and to detect abuse / DDoS)
- The URL you requested on netmirrors.net.in
- The HTTP method, status code, and bytes transferred
- Your
User-Agentstring (browser + OS) andRefererheader - Timestamp of the request
- Coarse geographic region inferred from the IP (country / state level)
These logs are managed by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy. They are used for security (rate limiting, bot blocking), performance (cache decisions), and uptime monitoring. Cloudflare retains access logs for a rolling window typically not exceeding 30 days at our tier. We do not have access to long-term raw log data.
4.2 Privacy-respecting analytics
We use lightweight privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful (so we know what to improve). The analytics provider we use does not set persistent tracking cookies, does not fingerprint visitors across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable data. The metrics we see are aggregate, anonymous, and look like:
- "How many visits did /netmirror-apk/ get this week"
- "What countries are visiting" (country code only)
- "What browsers are most common" (e.g. Chrome on Android)
- "Which page was the entry point" and "which links got clicked"
No visitor is individually identifiable in our analytics. We cannot tell which page you specifically looked at, only the aggregate count.
4.3 Downloads from our CDN
APK files (NetMirror.apk and NetMirrorTV.apk) are served from our Cloudflare CDN at download.netmirrors.net.in. Downloads generate the same Cloudflare access logs described in section 4.1 — IP, user-agent, timestamp, file requested. We do not associate downloads with individuals; we only look at aggregate counts.
5. Cookies
netmirrors.net.in itself sets no first-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising retargeting cookies, or any cross-site tracking technology.
Cloudflare may set a single technical cookie (__cf_bm / __cflb) for bot management and load balancing. This is a security cookie, not a tracking cookie — it is not used to build a profile of you and is automatically deleted within 30 minutes of inactivity. You can read more in Cloudflare's cookie documentation.
Your browser may locally cache static assets (CSS, fonts, images) from netmirrors.net.in for performance. This is standard HTTP caching, not tracking, and you can clear it any time from your browser settings.
6. Third-Party Services Listed on This Site
netmirrors.net.in contains links to many third-party services so readers can verify our claims or download from the source. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. If you click through, their policy applies, not ours. Major third parties referenced include:
- Cloudflare — CDN and edge security (policy)
- VirusTotal — independent APK scans we link to (policy)
- Apple — App Store links for the DODO Webview app (policy)
- Google — Play Store and developer docs links (policy)
- NetMirror and associated streaming URLs (net27.cc, net27.cc, pcmirror.cc, etc.) — operated by parties unrelated to us; we have no insight into their data practices
7. If You Email Us
If you choose to email [email protected] (for a DMCA notice, correction request, privacy request, or general question), we receive whatever you send — your email address, your name if you sign the email, and the contents of the message. We use this only to reply to you and to keep a record of correspondence for legal / dispute purposes.
We retain email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary (typically up to 24 months) and then delete it. We do not add email addresses to a marketing list — there is no marketing list.
8. Data Retention
- Cloudflare access logs — managed by Cloudflare, typically 30 days or less at our tier.
- Aggregate analytics — retained indefinitely in aggregate, anonymous form.
- Email correspondence — up to 24 months from last reply, then deleted.
- DMCA / copyright complaints — retained as long as required by law (typically 3+ years) for our defence and for repeat-infringer tracking.
9. International Data Transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network. When you request a page on netmirrors.net.in, your request is served from the nearest Cloudflare edge — which may be in India, Singapore, the EU, the US, or elsewhere depending on your location and the routing table. By using the site, you accept that your request data transits these jurisdictions. Cloudflare maintains GDPR-compliant safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Your Rights Under India's DPDP Act 2023
If you are an Indian resident ("Data Principal" under the DPDP Act), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (which, as explained above, is normally just email correspondence if any).
- Correction of inaccurate or outdated personal data.
- Erasure of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Grievance redressal — escalate any complaint to our grievance officer at [email protected].
- Nominate another person to exercise rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
We will respond to verified DPDP Act requests within 30 days.
11. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU / UK)
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is used (this page).
- Access a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection regarding processing.
- Data portability.
- Lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority if you believe we have not handled your data correctly.
Our lawful basis for the limited processing described above is legitimate interest (running and securing an informational website) — we do not rely on consent because we do not perform tracking that requires it.
12. Your Rights Under CCPA (California)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information to any party. Requests can be sent to [email protected].
13. Children's Privacy
netmirrors.net.in is not directed at children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received data from a child, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
14. Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with HSTS enforced via Cloudflare. APK files are served with strict MIME types and download-only headers. We do not store credentials, payment data, or personal records, so the data attack surface is minimal by design. If you discover a security issue, please email [email protected] with subject "Security disclosure".
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy when the law changes, when we add a new third-party service, or when our practices evolve. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes (new data category, new third-party recipient) will be highlighted on this page. Continued use of netmirrors.net.in after revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
16. Contact
For any privacy question or to exercise the rights described above, email [email protected] with subject "Privacy request — netmirrors.net.in". Please include enough detail for us to identify the data in question (e.g. the email address you wrote from).
